AQUATIC 

International Aquafeed and VIV are hosting the latest rendition of the Aquatic Conference – Aquatic MEA at VIV MEA 2020! The conference will feature a variety of industry experts delivering brilliant presentations about the latest updates in both fish and shrimp nutrition, focused upon aquaculture trends in Egypt, the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

Aquatic MEA is aimed at nutritionists, academia as well as technical and processing staff who wish to discover more about this intriguing sector and its own unique developments in the aquaculture industry. Topics such as enzymes, feed supplements, fish health and nutrition, probiotics and prebiotics will be discussed, to name a few.

KEYNOTE SPEAKERS

ABDEL-FATTAH EL-SAYED

Professor Abdel-Fattah El-Sayed received his PhD in aquaculture (Tilapia Nutrition) from Michigan State University, USA in 1987. He is currently a professor in the Oceanography Department, Faculty of Science, Alexandria University, Egypt. Dr El-Sayed has authored and co-authored over 120 peer-reviewed publications on aquaculture and fisheries. He has participated in many local, regional, and international aquaculture and fisheries research projects. The Aquatic MEA Conference is very pleased to announce that Abdel-Fattah El-Sayed will be one of the keynote speakers at the conference. 

SIMON DAVIES

Professor Simon Davies holds a Chair in Aquaculture Nutrition within the School of Biosciences, Plymouth University and heads the Fish Nutrition & Aquaculture Health Research Group. He is an acknowledged international expert in the nutrition of farmed fish species, having served his university for 28 years, since 1986. He is the Editor- in-Chief of International Aquafeed magazine with a wide global circulation and serves on the editorial board of numerous scientific journals involving fish nutrition and related health research.
